Need Direction on Where I Should Begin

I live in Nashville temporarily for work and my hometown is in Atlanta. Both cities are GREAT investment opportunities and this is my first time purchasing a home. I don't have a network in Nashville so I would be doing this alone, but I have a solid network/support system in Atlanta. I don't want to miss out on opportunities in either location.

My questions:

1.) Should I invest in a rental property in Atlanta and Nashville at the same time?

2.) If so, how do I make this happen?

3.) If I need to focus on one area, then should I focus on the city where I currently reside or in the city where I have an established network/support system?

I would appreciate any advice and feedback that you're able to offer!

Thank you,

Menisha
