I'm looking to purchase my first flip next month and wanted to know if I should create a LLC before or after the purchase? I'm leaning towards creating one before just to be on the safe I just want to make sure I'm making the right moves.

@Brandian Ross. I would recommend getting an LLC. It is good to protect yourself and depending on how you are going to finance it a lot of hard money lenders require an LLC. I disagree on the S-Corp. All investors and mentors I know have flips and rentals both in LLCs. One LLC for flips and another for rentals. If you need a company I can send you some information and they are very helpful.
