Looking to Give Back

What better time of the year than to think about giving back to those less fortunate. Even though I currently do not have any investments in RE (prepping to change that) I am looking for a new Charity, especially those types of charities that look out for kids in third world countries. Kids in need of help are my kryptonite. I have heard of some charities in the past where the child you help out and look after even writes back to you letting you know how life is going. If any of you know of such organizations or highly recommend others, please do not hesitate and let me know. Merry Christmas everyone.

Aloha Eric,

It is a great thing you taking the time to give back.  I have 4 children and each year they make money to purchase a gift for a child.  They chose a gift around their own age and then they individually find a child their age to give them the gift.  We also spend Christmas eve serving lunch for the homeless. My children ages are 14months, 7, 9, 15.

Here are some charities: World Vision Children Charity, Children.org, Save the children.

What is also great is visiting hospitals and volunteering some time with children who have cancer....like St. Jude...in Hawai'i have has Shriners Hospital for Children. I visited there several years back and sang songs for several of the patients.

Best of luck to you! You have a great heart! People with tend to flock to people with integrity, generosity and kindness.

Much aloha,

Danny
