Who Should Create My LLC and How Much Should I Pay

I'm trying to decide how to create my LLC. I am looking at 3 different options.

1. I have spoken to 3 different Real Estate Attorneys in my area (Menifee, Ca.) who want to charge $1,100-$1,800 + Ca. fees to create a basic LLC. This seems a little high to me.

2.  Legal Zoom who's best package is $350 + Ca. fees.

3. Set it up myself for minimal cost + fees

I want it to be setup correctly from the beginning so that I don't run into issues down the line. I see the benefit of establishing a relationship with a lawyer early on since I will be going into multi family down the road.

I would love to get peoples advice and experience so that I can best make a decision. Thank you!

So I don't know any of the details of your situation, so maybe this is helpful for you or maybe not. We are invested in a few states and on the advice of a CA attorney we are foregoing the LLC for CA. We have 2 properties here and an insurance policy with a hefty umbrella. LLC setup in CA is about $1200 plus an $800 annual fee. The Attorney advised against because we have a good system in place to maintain our properties so we don't allow room for gross negligence, we have property management with E&O insurance as an extra layer of defense and had our lease agreement reviewed by an attorney and then our own insurance umbrella to catch everything else. Other states cost about $300 to setup and low or no annual. CA is ridiculous
