Multi-Family or Single

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the investing scene and I am looking for some advice. I have been looking into different houses and was wondering if anyone had advice on if buying a multi-family house is more beneficial than a single family house for renting out? Also, if buying a multi-family, does it make sense to rent one side and live in the other? Thanks!
