Hi Bigger Pocketeers!

My name is Stephen and I currently live in New Jersey. I've just started to learn more about real estate and stumbled across this site, which so far is amazing!

The plus side of my adventure so far is my wife and I saved some money to invest, but we just didn't know what to invest it in. We've been thinking about real estate for a while, but our dreams were deflated whenever we looked at homes in Jersey (or the taxes, for that matter).

We're interested in single and multifamily homes in Raleigh, given NC has cheaper prices than NJ and it's not as far as Texas or Narnia. We've been looking around and are planning to make a trip to scout out the area this month.

I'd like to follow the BRRR strategy and would love to hear any expert advice/tips for beginners, especially in our targeted area.

Thanks in advance!

Stephen
