VA Loan

Hey BP family,

I'm trying to find out information on the VA Loan but the VA website isn't very detailed. Since I can't house hack, I want to know if there are other ways I could use the loan. Buy the house and NOT rent it out, maybe have a family member live there temporarily? When I spoke to USAA they mentioned something about being able to use the loan for a vacation home. Does anyone have an information about this? I'm trying to think creatively.

Hey @Kyle Brodwater. I am overseas, therefore, I will not be living in the property, which is a requirement for the VA loan. I am trying to find a way around it, but things are looking pretty slim.
