Investing near/around Sarasota

Hello community,

I was hoping to obtain some guidance and opinions on how to start a Real estate Invest. I am in the process of consolidating family properties and funds with the intention of buying properties in Florida. I am new to the game, in the process of obtaining my real estate license in Colorado, where i reside 8 months of the year. There are many things i need to figure out. It will be a three person family operation not sure if it should be kept private or LLC. Which seems like the most talked about conversation that has no specific answers. We already have three properties in Sarasota and would love to have many more. Looking to understand what potential areas to invest in, advice and experience would be wonderful. If you are from the area and have the time i would love to speak to you. Thank you
