New to Real Estate Investing

Hey,

I am very interested in transitioning from being a mortgage underwriter to becoming a real estate investor. I am more interested in buying homes outright from inner city land banks and finding other investors to add capital into fixing these homes for purchase or rental options. A lot of the homes I am looking into are near hospitals or campus areas that in recent history these organizations have been purchasing from homeowners at a much higher price than market value. Any research you all can suggest or books/youtube videos you can recommend will be very much appreciated!
