New to hard money

I am a Home inspector and general contractor in TN looking to get more involved with flips. I have partnered with other people on several projects and performed multiple rehabs on properties for other investors. I am looking to start doing some solo projects and have been looking into hard money. I have the capital to provide some skin in the game, but am leery and a little apprehensive about using hard money for the first time for my first solo flip. Does anyone have any recommendations and/or personal experiences with any lenders in TN that I should contact and look into?  When searching online, so many lenders pop up it has me a little overwhelmed.

Nick
