Duplex homes in NJ

Hello Amazing BP Colleagues,

I am new to real estate investing. I am starting out with buying a property to live in. Wanted to start with a Duplex.

Me and my spouse currently work in middlesex county and it is so hard to find a duplex in middlesex county. Can anyone from New Jersey suggest safe neighborhoods that are abundant in duplex or multiplex houses.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Prabodh

Welcome and good luck!

One of the advantages you have with house hacking is that it (hopefully) will force you buy with some sort of investment model at the fore, unlike many people who buy a single family home to live in based on emotions.
