Getting on my feet in Northwest AR

Hello! I've recently moved to NW Arkansas to be close to family after getting out of the military and having my son. I've had quite a few good mentors, especially when I lived in Colorado and here in about 6 months I will have a few rental units of my own. I find myself wanting to do more however, as I love every aspect of real estate. I'm currently studying to get my RE license here in AR. In the meantime I've been doing a lot of research still and was wanting to really get into flips and wholesaling, however I just don't know how to get my foot in the door. It's like I have a good knowledge and skill set I'm just a bit timid to dive in. Im mainly looking to find more solid like minded people and investors, both new and seasoned, I can work with and bounce ideas with. It always feels great to connect with like minded people, it always seems to get things in motion. Any way, any tips would be greatly appreciated, as well as simple thoughts and discussion on various methods and aspects of RE!

Thanks!
