Hello,

I am 24 y/o, and i would like to start investing in rental property i can utilize a va loan for 0 money down so financing shouldnt be too much of a concern. My problem is, i know almost nothing about the business. I am thinking a business plan is the first step but not fully sure... also, do you have to have a business to get your first rental property? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Jeremy Salo first read the forums on BP and listen to the podcasts. Download the beginners guide and read it page to page.

I recommend house hacking to start, ideally with a 2-4 unit. Then start to BRRRR. If these terms are not yet familiar, follow directions above.

Good luck!
