Can I roll real estate into an existing business?

I currently have a business of my own that's doing well, non-real estate related, and I've got a few questions starting out:

I'm essentially an oilfield service company, can I use pre-tax business profits to invest in real estate within my own company?  I know the two aren't related, so any advice would be nice.

Should I create a DBA under the current company for my new real estate business?

What tax perks can I take advantage of in my current situation?

I know I should, and i will, but what specific tax questions should I ask my CPA in this situation?

Is there anyone who has gone through anything similar that would be willing to share their story?
