Real Estate Investing Partnership? MD and/or FL
Hi Everyone!
My husband and I are new to the game so we were looking for someone to partner up with on perhaps the first couple of deals and we can split the profits.
What I can bring to the table is access to MD/DC/VA's MLS, buying, selling and/or renting out the house as I have my real estate license for Maryland and could get the reciprocity for DC & Virginia.
Because the market is so expensive here in the Maryland/Washington, D.C./Virginia area, we want to get some investments going in Florida (mainly in Tampa area, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Miami) as well. Anyone who's on the same boat or could know someone maybe interested, please let me know :-)
Thanks!
Lily

Hello Lily,
I think you will find that most of the best deals to be had are not going to be listed on MLS. They are either ones you find yourself, from a wholesaler or sometimes from FSBO maybe even auctions. Whatever way they are definatly getting harder to find. Seems like every once in awhile you can get lucky and find a deal down here in Florida on the MLS. Although they might as well be unicorns because nobody ever believes it when they see one, lol . This all of course is my humble opinion and I'm not the full time investor yet but I want to be. I do spend about 3-4 hrs a day looking at mostly Single family properties online and even look at some in person, just to keep up with the market.
I am currently seeking the financial side to a partnership, who also have both honesty and integrity. Because I have both and only want good people in my circle. I have a good knowledge of construction, from drywall to laying tile to concrete and even most light electrical. I've done just about everything when it comes to houses and certainly know enough to make sure any contractor or worker that is hired is doing their job correctly and for the right amount of money. I keep up with construction costs and material costs so estimating a rehab's is not a problem. I know how to recozinize a good deal, to a great deal, and a deal that should be walked away from. I have been in charge of as many as 20 employees in the past. We can discuss more of what I bring to the table if your interested at all in talking with me further. If not I understand and wish you and your husband all the best and God Speed.
Thank you for your time.
