Hello everybody,

I was hoping that someone could refer us to a really good Business Formation Attorney here in Maryland or Baltimore, MD. We need someone who can advice us on our different options and help us form a company that will be involved in a plethora of RE activities ranging from Acquisitions to RE Tech.

Preferably, the Attorney is a RE Investor. Please any recommendation(s) will be very very helpful. Thanks! - Ola

@Ola Dantis you need to consult both an attorney and an accountant. There are both legal and tax consequences of the decision and the two may even offer conflicting advice.

Also keep in mind one entity may not be the best for multiple businesses as the risk and tax consequences can be different for various aspects of real estate.

For an accountant I highly recommend Jeffrey Stoller of Goodwich Stoller and Associates.

For an attorney Anthony Onwuanibe is an investor himself and does a variety of work real estate investors. He has probably handled 1/2 dozen real estate settlements for me this year. I would also consider Jeffrey Charlow of Masters title and Escrow, in Towson. I don't know if he invests himself but he does lots of work with investors.
