Wholesaling in Brooklyn

Hello fellow community members. I need your help getting started. I live in Brooklyn and want to start wholesaling. I've been reading books, reading posts on forums, attending meetups, asking other investors, and watching videos. I've even started reaching out to sellers (I only do fsbo) and some buyers try to take advantage of me already. I'm not saying that I'm gonna give up but it is frustrating when you want to start and no one is there to help. What I'm really asking, more like begging for, is a mentor or someone in the wholesaling business near Brooklyn who can guide me and get my feet wet. I truly do believe that you can guys can help me cause that is what this community is about. Us all achieving our goals. Thank you for reading.
