First post - testing, testing

I have been listening to the podcasts and decided to join recently.  Im not 100% sure how this post will work out, but hoping for the best...but slightly skeptical.

Im what i would call new to the REI, but as everyone says...very interested to get into the game. I own my own home, and now looking for a first project. Im willing to partner with someone locally so i can learn more about the finer details. I have what i feel is a good RE background, concepts, ideas...but a lot to learn. So i figured i would throw something out there for people in the bay area in a similar boat, or current investor looking to network, etc. Im not asking for a mentor, selling anything, etc...just wanted to say hello and see about networking, starting/learning, etc.

If anything else...hello, and i enjoy reading and learning about REI and what people have to say on BP.
