Hello everyone, My name is Max and I'm new to real estate investing. I am in the process of buy my first duplex and i had a few questions about raising rent. Currently the duplex is being rented at $525 per side with each side being 700 sq ft of living space and 700 sq ft of unfinished basement with each unit having there own washer and dryer. the average rent in the area is about $600+ for the same space. i was thinking for raising the rent to $600 to be fair and not overpriced. Each tenant does pay their own Gas and Electric. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
