Careers with a background in historic preservation?

Hi everyone,

VERY new here so if this isn't the most appropriate place to ask just let me know. I'm interested in real estate and I'd like to get involved soon, but I was curious about careers in real estate and development for someone with a background in historic preservation. I've got a degree in the subject and I've been working on the consulting side for only a couple of years, and I'd like to look in to careers where I can take advantage of my background.

Thanks for any help!
