Brokers want you!
Just some newbie knowledge I want to share with you guys.
I started going to open houses in my area like BP members suggested and along with forming connections in my community I learned 2 key things.
1. It's true what they say, Real Estate Agents/Investors want to share their knowledge and experiences with you.
2. I am taking my salesperson test next month and guess what, all the brokers immediately ask who I'm hanging my license with and start their sales pitch. It feels great!
I had already planned on getting my license but had little knowledge on investing. About 5 weeks of BP podcasts and forum reading and it seems like its all paying off. Thanks @Brandon Turner and @Joshua Dorkin for giving us the best, free, no BS advice. Keep you updated on my journey!

Desk fees and the like. If I'm a RE Broker (which I'm not) and I take you on for a cut of your commission and a few hundred a month to hang your hat here, and you completely flop as an agent, great that's for me STILL the easiest couple hundred bucks a month that I'll ever make.
You are not an employee asking for a job that should be grateful for the multiple job offers.
You are an independent operator shopping for a mentor who is going to take a cut of your pie and charge you rent to hang your license. Make sure you get the most for your pie and rent money!
