Hello, I am new to BP and investing. Ive heard some stories of home buyers getting a $8,000 rebate after purchasing a home. Is anyone familiar with this? If so, is it only for a first time home buyer?

Is it only for certain states?

Any information is Greatly Appriciated!

I am currenty in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Make that 2009 or 2010. The rebate no longer exists.
