Seeking for a mentor in the Spokane area

Hi. I am new to real estate investing and was reaching out to anyone in the Spokane area that was willing to be interested in being a mentor. I did look into classes but I am a hands on person and like the "experience is the best teacher" saying. Any one know of or how to find one? I would really be interested in what creative ideas there are out there.

Hi Jose,

Welcome to bigger pockets! Glad to see another Spokane resident. If your looking to learn the trade and want to find a mentor to guide you, the I would suggest visiting one of the local REI clubs in Spokane or Couer D'Alene.

Make sure to read through the Bigger Pockets Ultimate Beginners Guide, go through the free video course, and figure out what you would like to do. You can wholesale, flip, buy and hold rentals, hold notes, and much more.

Biggest thing to remember when searching for a mentor is to add value to their lives or business. Offer to help in some fashion, maybe bring them deals that you can work together on. There's lots to do and learn so be prepared for that.

Good luck!
