Hello everyone!

My name is Anton and I am completely new to the real estate world. I am 28 looking for a way to transition out of my 9-5 to support my future with my girlfriend and our family down the line in the future. We are looking to move into our first apartment together which will be a bit of a financial strain for a bit, but it has me extremely motivated to pursue a more flexible lucrative path to support us. On top of my day job, which I have been forced to work overtime 45-50 hours a week, I am also taking college courses online full time to finish my undergrad degree within the next year with plans on going to graduate school after that, so suffice it to say that I don't have too much free time on my hands. I'm trying to education myself in financial literacy (I have just come across the book Rich Dad Poor Dad and I'm about halfway through it) and I'm just learning some of the basics of investing in real estate. I am hoping that through this forum I will be able to navigate through all the confusion and start investing in new assets that could help generate good returns.

I am very excited to meet all of you and perhaps connect with those around me locally to help me on this journey!

Edit: Sorry, it looks like I posted in the wrong sections. I just found the New Member Introductions section. Can someone move this post to the appropriate section? Thanks!
