Newbie to Real Estate Investing

Hi All,

I am embarking on this journey in the Real Estate industry. I am looking for great people to network with and help guide me through. My 1st profession is nursing, so a lot (if not ALL) of this is very unfamiliar. I want to start generating my own stream of income and wealth. I want to obtain residential properties to rent out, as well, I would like to learn and do some flipping. I have attended a couple of seminars hosted by Fortune Builders and it has definitely sparked my interest even more. I really need to line myself up with some experienced people who don't mind offering up some advice, support and coaching. I think there's enough out there for everyone to get their piece of the pie! I would love some advice on financing options, cash buyers, documents and step by step ways to make this an "easier" transition. I have already obtained my SC license for property management, LLC for my company and developed some basic forms that I "think" I might need. I just know there's TONS I still don't know and would greatly appreciate any and all advice and tips. I look forward to networking!

Hello, Alisha Magwood ! I'm a newbie still, so not a ton of advice here. Just some words of support! I used to be a nurse, then a nurse practitioner, so yeah, it's all really new to be thinking like a business owner rather than an employee. (Did my undergrad studies in NC.) Real estate brings a whole different set of lingo and technical info to learn, but hey, that's what you had to do when you became a nurse! And you sound like you're off to a great start. Best wishes in the journey! You've got this!
