Real Estate Investor and Real Estate Agent all in One

I have been selling Real Estate as an onsite Sales Consultant for a national builder for 12 years. I have recently decided to change my approach and have hung my R.E. License with a General Real Estate Brokerage. I'm also interested in becoming a Real Estate Investor and have had some experience with this by buying and holding personal properties that I've rented and have generated positive cash flow for me. I'm now interested in the Wholesale Strategy. How can I use my Real Estate Agent role to complement my Investor Role and create win win situations where I can help people and also help my self? What are the dos and don'ts of combining the two occupations? Thank you for the feedback.
