Houston multi family real estate beginner

Hello everyone I am finally getting my feet wet in real estate investing. I plan on starting with the "house hacking" method on a multi family property here in Houston. I would like  to gather any feed back on the market as well and how do I go about finding meet ups. I would love to learn as much as I can from local investors and one day help next person. Thank you.
