Next steps as I educate myself?

Hello BP Community,

I've just started out in the Real Estate game and though I have no properties yet, I'm trying to learn all I can about real estate investing. I read as many blog posts as I can on BP, I listen to the BP podcasts as I drive to work and I'm reading real estate books (Millionaire Real Estate Investor at the current time). My question is, as I try to educate myself, what would be my best next steps? Look for a meet up group? Try to analyze properties found on real estate listing sites? 

Any help would be appreciated!
