I have been doing my research on wholesaling. I still have a lot more to do before I think I'm ready to give it a shot, but one thing I don't seem to see anywhere is about the "contract" is that something I would right up myself? I know it may be a stupid question I'm just trying to learn!

New York will have a standard contract that you can used.  You want to make sure there's no language in there banning assignments.

On the Florida FarBar there is a spot to check that allows you to assign or not assign.
