Starting out as a wholesaler in Los Angeles

Hey guys, I've been spending every spare minute of my time for the last 3 weeks learning everything I can about REI. I just put in my first offer to buy my first home! So I'm about taking action. After I buy my first house though, I'm struggling with what to do next in the Los Angeles market.

I'm thinking about doing wholesaling part time (about 25 hours a week). Is LA metro and the surrounding areas a decent market for wholesaling?

What are some good REA's I can join in the Hollywood area?

Any great advice some of you more seasoned vets might have for a newbie eager to take action?
