Real Estate Licence On Hold?
Hi Everyone,
I am currently in college with plans to become a real estate investor upon graduating. At the moment my course load is very light and I am therefore looking into completing the required courses for my real estate licence here in Ontario (Through OREA). My question is, being that funds are somewhat limited at the moment, I would like to minimize costs associated with maintaining the licence until I am finished in college. Is it possible to put a real estate licence "on hold"? Will my licence expire if I complete all courses without registering with CREA, RECO, TREB etc. or without hanging my licence under a brokerage?
Thanks in advance,
Kyle
