Looking to acquire some investment properties in the Fort Worth Texas area (Buy and Hold mainly) and wanted to know if anyone could recommend a good attorney, accountant, or even a real estate agent experienced with foreclosure type properties?

Thank you.

Before you purchase anything, it would be in your best interest to consult an asset protection specialist to ensure you and your assets are protected against legal liability and that your entities are setup in the most tax advantageous structure given your investment strategy.

I researched and interviewed many firms and groups, but finally settled on Anderson Advisers.  They are the leaders in their field, and have an amazing staff of top accountants and attorneys that focus on asset protection.

It would still be a good idea to have a real estate attorney to work deals through locally, but Anderson Advisers can set you up to make sure you are insulated from liability and/or totally protected from litigation should something go wrong in one of your investment properties.  They can also make sure your properties are insulated from systemic liabilities; that is, that a judgement against one property cannot spread to other properties because they are not legally linked.  This could save your business from catastrophic loss should something bad happen.

You can check out their website, or search YouTube for Clint Coons and watch some of his videos to see what they're all about.
