Co-Wholesale

Hi all, Does the concept of co-wholesaleing properties require a real-estate license? I have read recent accounts of states finding assgent contracts unlawful as well as agreements In place between JV co-wholesaleing partners. I need to wholesale as well as co-wholesaleing but I want to be on the right side of the law and stay legit. Thank you in advance for any insight.

Cheers,

Chris
