Investment Property....... And time to Have Repairs completed ?

Hi,

I have never purchased or owned an Investment property ( only recently a Personal Residence ).

My question please is ..... when you purchase a property with 20% down and buy it as an Investment property , how long do you have to have the repairs completed ?

And does the time allowed for completion, depend on if you're goal is to flip the property or if it is to Hold on to it as a Rental ?
