Is the seller the owner or another wholesaler?

Hi im just starting out in wholesaling today I decided to stop being afraid and email some motivated sellers from craigslist. Well I received a call back and I got super excited I started doing some research  on the property and the name she gave me isn't the same as the owner that is listed can u tell me what can that mean. It seems to me that this is a property that another wholesaler has under contract I could be wrong like said Im just starting out plz help.
