Hello bigger pockets family my name is Ronald from Newport News Virginia. I am attempting to get in the real estate game as we speak and have a couple of??????

My credit scores range from 580 to 650 what type of mortgage products are available? I have paid everything off and have been on time(credit card and auto payments) for a year to show my credit worthiness.

Next I would like to buy a small condo or townhouse that I could live in for a year and then rent out. In the summer of next year(2016) I would like to buy a duplex in the $125,000 to $200,000 price range so my next ? Is this: How much money do I need and credit score boost do I need to reach my goal in the next 6 to 12 months?

Thanks
