Do I need to be a licensed real estate broker?

Hi all- I'm in the learning stage and I want to learn as much as I can before I invest again. I'm treading more carefully now bec of limited funds.

How important is a license to suceed in this business? I'm doing real estate on the side.

Is it worth spending money for review centers?
