Intro & Questions About Big Portfolios
Hello, everyone! I'm John and I just joined yesterday. Let me first take a second to express how grateful I am to have found this site. As many, if not all, of you know the fear you experienced when you first decided to venture down real estate investing can be quite intimidating. To take on something completely new. But having found this site I feel that much more confident and feel very supportive after doing a bit of reading on the forums. You guys are awesome. Very supportive and very friendly,
Moving on, I had a question about people whose annual income are in the 7 figure range. I stumbled across a post that talked about this but completely lost it and I was looking at too many posts to check my history. The member asked which way to start would be best for his income goals. Another member replied and used an example of renting out property to achieve his desired salary. Now for the majority of you in that 7 figure range, is it mostly from passive income or is it mainly from say, buying/flipping? I'm in no way looking for some get rich quick type of thing. I've just gotten really curious to see whether it's what that member described and it'd be best to rent out properties or if buying/flipping would be the better route for my goals. My big goals are to first have $100k annually, then $500k and then $1m annually so that's why I'm curious about people in the seven figures. Whether it be passive or active, I can do it. I have quite a lot of time to learn the ropes, master my niche and do what I got to do. Sorry for sounding like such an uneducated newbie. I would just like to know what would be best for my goals. I promise to keep studying and never stop learning. I've been studying quite a lot. I am already incredibly happy to be here and feel so much more confident with you ladies and gents here for all the great help and support.
Cheers.
