What and where is the 'best' Investment Club to attend?

Greetings!

I am looking to commit to an Investment Club for the purposes of networking, mentorship, and possible partnership opportunities. Because I am a newcomer I am extremely concerned with the risk of perception (i.e looking like a 'customer' or 'competition' as opposed to being a 'prospectively mutual asset) that comes with being a newbie.

I am seeking information in regards to the most effectively beneficial investment club to commit with. However, due to the nature of my employment, I will not be able to leave the San Diego area until August. Because of this, I have been searching local areas to bide my time until I can freely roam towards the most beneficial groups.

In addition to seeking a supportive investment club, I have been investigating local (San Diego) clubs that could be worth looking into. I have come across the San Diego Investment Club (FIBI), and am wondering if anyone has any experience in dealing with this group. Are they reputable? Is it worth looking into?

Thank you for your time in reading this. I look foward to hearing feedback!
