Married Couple Brokers - Advantages?

My wife and I are both pursuing our requisite Real Estate licenses here in California. 

The question is, should both of us pursue our brokers licenses? 

Are there any notable advantages to both of us being brokers? We don't plan on representing buyers or sellers like a typical Broker/Salesperson arrangement. Any input is appreciated!
