Newbie from ft Lauderdale

hi everyone my name is shawn. Mcadam and well i ended attending a fortune builders siminar and thats when the seed was planted . i went home did some reasearch and well i found bigger pockets where i found everything that was mentioned in the siminar and much more. Now ive been just soaking up as much information as possible and i decided to post here not only to network but for some advice.

As i was doing my research i found out about the va loan which i do qualify for now heres my dilemma should i get preapproved before i go out and try to find a property or do i find the property first? I want a multifamily home and hopefully live rent free. As far as my real estate investing portfolio i want to quit my job and become a flipper full time and use the funds from flipping to turn it into a portfolio of cash flowing property any advice here on what step or steps i should take next im kinda at a lost having analysis paralysis right now. I look forward to hearing thoughts and thank you in advance.
