New to everything

hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read my post. Ok so my name is victor and i've been staying home with my children for about 4 years while my wife work now im ready to go back to work, but im not trying to go back to the 9-5 job i want freedom and i want to be comfortable in my pocket so im looking into the real estate business, i know for experience that nothing is easy on the first 2 years, but with hard work and positive thinking with a little bit of luck i know i can make this work. With all that said i would like to know how do i start on the real estate, do i have to go to school and get my Realtor license ? What do i have to do?? I have a goal and the goal is being an investor but i got to start from the beginning .. How much will it cost to start? Thanks
