Sloping floors

My girlfriend just bought a rehab house that we found that was built in 1850, the floors slope towards the middle and the inspector and contractors have not been concerned.

However, I've started to worry more. Is this pretty normal or should we get a foundation inspector.

The slope is to the center about 1.5 in over 8ft. I thought it was due to the beams being on 24 inch centers.

Thoughts?
