Young rookie looking to connect the dots
Hello,
My name is Hendrik. I am 18 years old student from Estonia, Eastern Europe. I am new to this forum but past few weeks I have really gotten into the Real Estate investing. I probably have lots yet to discover but I already have watched many BP podcasts and taken part of 1 webinar. This has been an incredibly interesting for me but the more I watch the more questions I come across.
First off, as all of this has been based on the NA region, I am a bit worried that things are different in my area. So may be there's somebody who can compare the differences of Real Estate in Europe and North America. Mostly the rental properties as I think it should be my first and safest step into this business. The thing that I have noticed is there are rarely any x(more than 1) unit houses in my country which would probably be the best choice. So I'm left with condos or single family homes. The market isn't as large as in the states but there are some options between these two. What should be noted before looking into properties for busines?
I already stated the rental property would be the best idea for me since flipping houses is a lot more complicated to start off with. Right now I have almost 10 000 € saved but I should be getting my father involved with up to 100 000 €. The other thing I wanted to ask was if buying the rental property with the loan would be worth it or is it good to own the money to buy it? As I've seen from the internet, many of the people are using the loan option.
The last two overall questions: 1) Am I too young to start with this? If no... 2) What is the best thing to go for in my case?
Thanks in advance,
Hendrik
