Seconding what George said -- real estate investing clubs are your best bet to meet people face-to-face. You can also cold call people you find on here, but you're better off trying to contact them and build a relationship before you mention meeting in person, unless they mention it first. Just be sure to demonstrate value and give them a reason to talk to you other than just wanting to take up their time.
