MLS Access

I know you realtors out there will beat me up over this one but here it is.....

I just relocated and in my old city I had a broker friend that would give me access to MLS - it was a great help. Now, in Denver I dont have access to it - anyone have any ideas how to get it, or anything that would subsitute?
