What types of properties to buy....looking for advice.
I'm in Greenville, SC and my wife and I are going to start buying some investment properties to rent.
I was thinking of some "rules" as far as what types of houses to look at (we're looking at sub $150K properties), but not sure if these make sense so looking for advice on whether these are good guidelines.
1) 3 BR/2 BA minimum so we increase our pool of renters.
2) Good school districts so we don't lose out on folks with kids
Do these make sense or are they a mistake? Anything else I should look for in a house as a first time investor?
