Honest mentor wanted in Sacramento area

Hi BP family. As a newbie educating myself in the REI field I was looking to see if anyone knew of a mentor in the Sacramento, CA area (I'm in Roseville). Not saying that all investors are not (wink wink), but I'm looking to learn from someone with high integrity standards that believes in doing things the right way and does not cut corners.

I went to my first local REIA meeting last week and have my finger on the pulse of others coming up and plan to attend as many as possible, but I figured I would post this question on here as well.

I currently work as a mortgage specialist for a big bank and have completed my course studies for my RE lic (just waiting probably 4 more weeks to get my test date but everything is in to get my license once I pass). I have been drinking through a garden hose for months learning as much as possible on all things RE investor related. My goal now is to gain some real world knowledge as i continue to grow.

I am hoping to find someone in the area currently active on the rehab/fix and flip investing side that I could shadow from time to time or just meet with to answer questions to get a feel for good processes/procedures used and gain insight into how best to build a great 'team'.

I'd be more than willing to give someone future considerations in the deals I will eventually be doing as a way to repay them for the knowledge gained as I believe in treating people fairly and would never expect a business owner to have to give something and get nothing in return.

I appreciate any information or direction someone can point me. Until then I will continue to soak up all the great information from the incredible resources that the Bigger Pockets site provides!
