First Time Home Buyers Tampa FHA Loan FHA 203k Loan Home Path Foreclosures

Hello BiggerPockets Fam!! This is my first time starting a discussion. I love this community and I am learning so much!

My wife and I will be first time home buyers here in Tampa. We want to get a FHA Loan or potentially a 203k loan and house hack a multi-unit property. I have been checking out properties on the Fannie Mae Home Path site and there are always a few 2-4 units in the Tampa Bay Area and especially in Pinellas County. Looking around on BP and other places on the net it seems that in order to get a normal FHA loan they are pretty strict on the inspection.

I'm hoping that I can get some advice from someone that has pursued one of these properties with an FHA Loan.

Thank you BP Community
