Wholesale with a LLC or no?

I recently started a l flipping business and created it under a llc. However, I want to start wholesaling as well, and this is in the general sense of just starting off and not wanting to buy the properties, type wholesale, just contract assignments (keeping flipping and wholesaling apart) do or should I do it under my LLC? My business partner for flipping is in for 50% on the llc divide and I want to wholesale by myself but I don't want to start an LLC right away. I read something about a sole proprietorship.... Please any guidance would be great. Im the DMV AREA.
